A mile or so down Indian Springs Road, I stop to look at some stone ruins in a hillside on the north side of the road

I also make a couple of phone calls on the way here because my cell phone works on this open stretch of road (it didn't work at my campsite).

I'm also watching my footprints in the road surface from last night's hike in the dark to see if I can remember exactly where I was.
