To my northeast is Kelso Valley, with Kelso Depot just barely visible in the middle

Up here on top of Kelso Dunes, I've been chatting with a guy from Saskatchewan (Canada), a flat prairie. He's used to these expansive views back home (I'm not) and notices how mountains here break up the otherwise endless views and block the sunset, making it seem earlier.
